“Mama’s Potion” Tea

 —no self resecting virus will go near it!

This recipe has been handed down through the women in our family and goes back to before the 1918 influenza epidemic. For thousands of years, our ancestors have been using Mother Nature’s pharmacopeia to treat themselves, their families & communities … perhaps we could learn from their wisdom.

Ingredients: Organic black elderberry, cinnamon bark, star anise, organic astragalus root, clove, organic ginseng, ginger, spices, organic licorice root, Cordyceps mushroom (Cordyceps sinensis), Lion’s Mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus), Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lingzhi), Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus), Maitake mushroom (Grifola frondosa), Turkey Tail mushroom, (Trametes versicolor) Agaricus Blazei mushroom, (all mushrooms are organic, lab grown, full spectrum; mycelium, primordia, fruitbodies, extracellular compounds)

Directions: Add one level teaspoon of “Mama’s Potion” to a tea ball, or 1 tablespoon in a french press and pour in boiling hot water, cover & steep for five minutes. Wait until the liquid has cooled a little & then add raw honey, as raw honey is alive & will die if the water is too hot.

Intention: This idea relates to the energetic aspect of things, which in the shamanic tradition is considered primary. Depending on your spiritual or religious persuasion, adjust the following to fit: Call upon the higher dimensions of each herb/mushroom, Christ or perhaps Mother Earth for her bounty. Send love, gratitude and your intention to stay healthy or heal from illness into your tea. I pray while making your tea & place it under a pyramid before I send it out to optimize the energy.
